THCH - Composite & Wood Deck, #8
Composite decking: Trim head minimizes “volcano” swelling around hole. Type 17 point eliminates pre-drilling.
For use with wood decking where a very low profile head is desired. Suitable for use in most environments. Not suggested for woods containing natural oils with high acetic content such as cedar or redwood (stainless steel recommended). Not suitable for use near fresh or salt water environments (stainless steel recommended).
